How do you get high speed (broadband) internet without subscribing to a cable service or AT&T’s Dsl?

I found a great article about saving on Cable Tv by getting your favorite shows on the internet and using broadcast HD (or SD) TV via an antenna. These are great strategies, but, where I live the main providers of broadband internet are either the phone company or the cable company. I don’t want cable TV or land line phone service. How do I get just Broadband Internet Service?

You still need an Internet Service Provider. If you don’t like subscribing, then look for a free wireless connection nearby that you can piggybank or ask ur neighbor about connecting to their internet using a cable. If you live in an apartment, there’s a Linksys device that shares internet (Independent). You don’t have to subscribe to ISP with this device.
